Sought After Professional Speakers

Picture1

Captain Charlie Plumb

Former Navy Fighter Pilot, P.O.W. Charlie Plumb will be our opening keynote speaker. After graduating from the Naval Academy, Plumb completed Navy flight training and reported to Miramar Naval Air Station in San Diego where he flew the first adversarial flights in the development of what would be called the Navy Fighter Weapons School, currently known as “TOP GUN”. Code named “Plumber”, he flew 74 successful combat missions over North Vietnam and made over 100 carrier landings. On his 75th mission, just five days before the end of his tour, Plumb was shot down over enemy territory and spent the next 2,103 days as a prisoner of war. His message of perseverance and the power of mindset will surely inspire those experiencing the burnout a fast-paced competitive market brings.

Katie Lance

Expert social media strategist, speaker, author and consultant Katie Lance will kick off day two. Former chief strategist and social media director from Inman News, she will provide attendees with practical ready-to-use tips on how to implement a social media strategy, including what to post where and when, how it fits into your current marketing plan and how to determine the R.O.I. Throughout the event she will also be teaching classes on reaching different age demographics, how to decipher social media analytics and video marketing.

Networking & Fun

Networking will be an integral part of the event. In addition to increasing the length of the cocktail hour and supplementing the menu on the evening of Oct. 3, we’re developing an Event App that will allow agents to play interactive games, post on an activity feed and facilitate networking all throughout, and after the event.

Innovation Station & Learning Lounge presented by Moxi Works

Moxi-Works-Investment-295x189Join us at the NEW Moxi Works Innovation Station & Learning Lounge for hands on training. It’s a place for you to discover, hangout, and learn. Come meet with members of the Moxi team for help with Moxi Works, TouchCMA, and Agent Websites. Even work one-on-one to tackle anything you haven’t quite had time to master. The learning lounge also offers short training sessions throughout the event, where agents can absorb killer tips, best practices, the latest features, and more.

Agent Head Shot Photo Studio

Where agents, managers, owners and staff can have updated head shots taken for their websites and other marketing materials. We’ll have a professional photographer and studio onsite. Receive a photo session, touching up, and electronic files in two file sizes, (high resolution for print materials and lower resolution files for online and email use) for a third of the regular cost.

Foundation Activity

Agents can help the Windermere Foundation bring hope to the homeless by writing encouraging notes and assembling Hygiene Kits for those in need. Our goal is to distribute 1,000 kits to the community.
