When does registration close?

Registration will close on Friday, July 21.

Is there a Qualification to attend 1 or more Summer Schools?

All new producers licensed after September 1, 2016 are permitted to attend without any production qualifications.

All existing producers (licensed prior to September 1, 2016 are expected to have paid for at least $8,000 of NAFYAC over the last 12 months based on an ending date of June 30, 2017. If you are not certain if you have made the minimum qualification, please check with your Regional Sales VP and let him/her know you’re interested in attending.


What is my COST for attending each one of the 4 schools?

There is no “tuition” cost to attend one or all of the schools. As you may know, tuition costs for LEAP Schools can range from $500 – $1,000 per day. Lafayette Life will absorb this cost along with the costs for lunches during each school and the evening event as outlined on the agenda.

Your only cost is travel to the school and your hotel lodging at The Residence inn by Marriott, which is across the street from Lafayette Life’s training facilities at The Guilford Institute.

Please note: Hotel BONUS Program - For those who have paid for $27,500 NAFYAC between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017, Lafayette Life will pay for your stay at The Residence Inn, however, you will still need to contact The Residence Inn to make your reservation in advance and present a credit card upon check-in for any incidental expenses.

All those staying at the Residence Inn, and who are driving in, there is only "Valet Parking" for $28.00 per day. However, Lafayette Life will pay for everyone's "Valet Parking" including those who do Not Qualify for the Hotel Bonus Program.


Where should I stay while attending Lafayette Life Home Office Summer Schools?

The Residence Inn Downtown is the preferred hotel for your stay as it is located across the street from The Guilford Institute. For more information about this hotel, click on the hotel tab to the left or visit: The Residence Inn Downtown Cincinnati.

What is the daily rate at The Residence Inn?

The discounted daily room rate for Summer School attendees is $189 before tax and service charge. In order to receive the discounted rate, be sure to mention you are part of the Lafayette Life Summer Schools room block and make your reservation by Monday, July 24.

How far is the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) from the hotel?

The airport is only 13 miles or about a 20-minute drive to downtown Cincinnati and The Residence Inn. Click here for directions.

How do I get to and from the airport?

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

Traveling by taxi averages approximately $30 one-way. Uber is approximately $20 one-way. The Residence Inn will gladly assist you with arranging transportation for your return trip to the airport.

Is parking available if I choose to drive to Cincinnati?

Yes, for those who are driving in and staying at The Residence Inn, there is valet service at the hotel for $28/day (discounted group rate) with unlimited in and out access. The valet parking height limit is 8 feet. Valet service is the only parking option at this hotel.

However, please note Lafayette Life will pay for everyone's "Valet Parking" including those who do Not Qualify for the Hotel Bonus Program as mentioned above.

Am I able to stay at a different hotel besides The Residence Inn?

Yes, however, The Residence Inn is the only hotel offering a discounted rate for Summer School attendees. If you stay at a different property, you are responsible for your transportation to and from Lafayette Life's training facilities. Where will the Home Office Summer Schools take place?

The Schools will take place at The Guilford Institute. It is conveniently located across the street from The Residence Inn.

What is the dress code?

Business Casual is the designated dress code for Lafayette Life Summer Schools. For the Reds game, resort casual is the dress code. Monday and Tuesday evening attire is "casual".


I want to bring my spouse/guest with me. Is that okay?

The Home Office Summer Schools are business meetings developed to offer producers an opportunity to gain valuable training and build relationships with peers, presenters and Lafayette Life associates. All Summer School functions including evening functions are for producers only. Spouses/guests are not invited to attend. However, since you are paying for your own accommodations to attend the program, it is your choice.

Am I able to bring my spouse/guest to meals or events if I pay for the additional expense?

No, we are not able to accommodate this request. Thank you for understanding.
