When will the conference take place? Where is it located? The ‘Lead the Way to Wellbeing’ Conference will take place October 31st, November 1st, 2019 at the Waterview. The Waterview is located on Bicentennial Drive off Australia Avenue, in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park.
Do you have parking onsite? Yes we have ample parking. There are 432 complimentary car spaces available to Waterview event guests.
Is there any public transport to Waterview? There are many forms of public transport when travelling into Sydney Olympic Park, including buses and trains. Please check https://www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au/transport for details. Waterview in Bicentennial Park is 18kms from Sydney Airport.
How can I register? What are the registration rates? Please visit the registration page for deadlines, rates, and other registration information.
Am I eligible for a discount rate? The two-day conference rate is $650. An early bird rate of $600 is available. Please visit the registration page for rates and deadline dates.
Where can I find the conference schedule? You can find a copy of the Conference 2019 program HERE. * Please note this is a projected schedule only and subject to change as conference approaches. Upon arrival at conference, you will receive a full conference diary with detailed start times and additional session times.
How do I add a workshop to my registration? Are workshops included in conference registration? You can register for workshops on the website form. Workshops are included in conference registration and do not incur an additional fee.
How do I register for a workshop? Can I change workshops? As the workshops become available, registrants select the Already Registered button and modify their registrations to select workshops or to make changes to their registration.
When and where is the networking function? An opportunity to meet and network at the ‘Lead the Way Towards Wellbeing’ function on Thursday 31st October at the Waterview Venue. Please check the program schedule for details.
How do I organise accommodation? There is a variety of accommodation within walking distance of our venue – The Quest Apartments, Novotel, Ibis Budget and Ibis and Pullman, all located in Sydney Olympic Park.
What services are available for special needs and requests? The Waterview venue is all ground level with a ramp at our entry. There are also several disabled parking spaces outside our venue. If you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the registration form when you register. Please contact events@mackillop.org.au should you have any further questions.
I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible? The conference is a convenient, one-price option that includes a two-day conference of keynote speakers and workshops. Registration is for a two-day conference, you may attend one-day however there is no one-day discount.
Is the conference schedule available? Details will be posted on our website as they are confirmed.
Will I receive Professional Development points by attending the conference? Professional Development points vary according to each state, please contact your governing body.
Can I transfer my conference registration to another person? If you would like to transfer your registration to another person you can do so by logging online to your registration page and updating the contact details prior to the event.
What is the cancellation policy for the conference? If you are unable to attend the conference, you can cancel your registration. Cancellation 1 month prior to the event incurs a $100 administration and cancellation fee. Please refer to the cancellation policy.
