Leading for Success by CHS - Session 3

Summary

Are you a graduate of Principles of Effective Management?  Are you wondering what the next step is in your professional growth and development? Leading for Success is designed to build on the foundation and expand the knowledge and skill sets you learned during Principles of Effective Management.  This course will provide you with the tools to be a more effective leader within your cooperative.  The curriculum is designed to focus on building and deepening foundational leadership skills such as self-awareness, selection and interviewing, feedback and performance management, building a high performance team, accountability, candid conversations and leading a diverse workforce. 

The pre-requisite for this program is Principles of Effective Management or at least four years of supervisory experience. This program also provides the pre-requisite requirements for the next level of leadership development, Leading for Impact.

This intense three-day, in-person learning opportunity includes a personal development roadmap and a follow-up virtual coaching circle with others in your cohort. Virtual learning under Leading for Success also includes Harvard ManageMentorĀ® with its flexible, online learning through reading, simulations, case studies and videos. 

Registration Fee: Leading for Success by CHS $2,595

The $2,595 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. If a learner needs to cancel, his or her registration is transferrable to another cooperative employee.

Jeff Goettl is a Learning & Development Manager for CHS in a broad range of disciplines. Goettl, Jeff_4x5_09.2016 He joined CHS in February of 1989 as a Market Development manager, following 4 years of management internship and 5 years of general manager experience.  He has a wealth of experience working with member cooperatives on Business Planning, Mergers, Acquisitions and Employee Engagement.   In addition to his consulting experience, Jeff has extensive experience in employee training and development.  He believes in the power of people and enjoys creating an interactive learning environment that involves all participants in the learning process.

Jeff is a certified facilitator for DiSC, MBTI, Crucial Conversations, In-Color Insights team dynamics and is a certified master trainer through ATD.  He facilitates sessions on management, leadership, team dynamics, and financial acumen.  He holds a degree in marketing from WITC in Rice Lake, WI.

 

Robin L. Silverman is a Senior Consultant with Right Management

Robin is the author of two personal development books and hundreds of newspaper feature Robin Cvent Sizestories and columns celebrating the best of the human spirit. Her work has been seen in national magazines, including Inc., Bottom Line Tomorrow, Parade Magazine, Marie Claire, and Ladies Home Journal. She has spoken at national, regional and local conferences.

Robin has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and an M.A. in Change Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. She is certified in numerous leader assessments. In addition, she has done over 25 years of research into methods for accelerating human potential.
