Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training Winter 2018- Pewaukee

​Please note that you must be able to attend all eight sessions.  All dates are Wednesdays and the series kicks off on January 31 followed by February 14, March 7, March 21, April 4, April 18, May 9 and May 23, 2018.

In WMEP’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Series, you will work with real-life data from your company to increase precision and reduce variability using root cause analysis based on DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) principles. Graduates of WMEP’s Six Sigma Black Belt training have seen an average reduction of $150,000 in their company’s cost of manufacturing. You will also learn ways to build on what you learn and how to sustain these savings over time.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to: 

  • Use basic tools such as Cost of Quality, Pareto Analysis, SIPOC,
    Fishbone, 5-Why, Control Charts, Cpk, 5S, and Kaizen
  • Use advanced tools such as Normality, T-test, Gage R&R, Design
    of Experiment, Regression, Correlation, and Control Plans
  • Apply Lean techniques to sustain Six Sigma culture in the

Prerequisites: Basic understanding of Six Sigma (prior certification not
required); Minitab or equivalent software; laptop.
