General Information
Overview
This course is designed as an introduction to Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques for all members of the workforce. Upon course completion and an 80 percent or higher exam score, attendees will receive
Florida Sterling Council Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
.
Outcomes of this training include:
A fundamental understanding of Lean Six Sigma and its benefits to an organization.
The ability to properly prioritize processes for improvement.
Approaches and tools to immediately improve processes in the workplace.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
Instructor
The course will be instructed and facilitated by Bob Seemer – certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and well-versed in the Baldrige/Sterling management system. Bob has more than 40 years' experience helping organizations in all sectors improve performance at all levels through the application and implementation of Lean Six Sigma, Professional Development and Industrial Engineering programs.

The registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch. The Florida Sterling Council will provide the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt candidate with the ets Six Sigma Yellow Belt Manual.

Cancellations/Refund Policy
Full refunds will be issued to participants submitting a written request prior to February 6, 2019. All requests shall be submitted via e-mail to
education@fha.org
. The refund policy is applicable to those who indicate payment is forthcoming prior to the program or on-site. Unpaid no shows will be invoiced.
Continuing Education
FHA is a provider of nursing education approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing under Provider No. NCE2972. Nurses will receive a certificate of attendance for continuing nursing education.
Attire
The attire for this program is business. Also, remember that meeting room and public areas are air-conditioned, so it is best to bring a jacket or sweater for your own comfort.
