Start the meeting off right at the Arizona Science Center. Designed by renowned architect Antoine Predock, this unique landmark is nestled in the picturesque setting of Heritage and Sciences Park where history and innovation collide. Friday, Nov. 8, from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
AAMC affinity group and alumni receptions are scheduled every evening. Please indicate your alma mater when completing your registration to receive an invitation to the appropriate event.
We’ve put together a busy five days of programming and encourage
you to recharge by taking advantage of the wellness programs offered by the AAMC. Yoga will take place Saturday through Tuesday, from 6 to 7 a.m. Walking and running groups will meet from 6:45 to 7:30 a.m.
Don’t forget to check your hotel’s website for a list of additional wellness and fitness opportunities.
Join us for a lively discussion on pertinent topics, trends, and issues at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 (a list of topics and facilitators will be distributed and listed in the mobile app). Facilitators will present their perspectives and relate their experiences to the topic. The AAMC strongly encourages conversation and discussion among participants. Blank table topic cards will be available for write-in topics. Boxed lunches will be available.
The call for facilitators will open in early September. Only registered attendees may submit a table topic for consideration.
Once again, the Exhibit Hall will feature exhibitors from business partners, member institutions, medical school and teaching hospital suppliers, specialized education, and health care and technology consultants. The Exhibit Hall will be open Nov. 9–11.

A special reception will take place in the Exhibit Hall on Saturday, Nov.9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Join us in the hall for Sunday brunch on November 10 and lunch on Monday, November 11.
The AAMC Awards Reception and Dinner honors individuals and organizations making significant contributions to improve the health of all. The Phoenix Convention Center is the site for this year's event, which will take place Nov. 10 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Reservations for the Awards Dinner are now open. Register today.
Join us for a poster reception on Monday, Nov. 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy reconnecting with colleagues and making new friends while reviewing scholarly posters about medical education.
We are no longer accepting proposals for poster sessions for Learn Serve Lead 2019. The call for sessions and posters is done through our research in medical education (RIME) research. The call for this year’s meeting opened in September 2018 and closed December 2018.
