Learn Serve Lead 2019: The AAMC Annual Meeting is November 8–12 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Ariz. Additional programming will take place at the local area hotels.The official conference begins with the Friday Welcome Reception at 5:45 p.m. and ends mid-day on Tuesday, November 12.
Learn Serve Lead is the AAMC’s signature learning and networking event that inspires and empowers the academic medicine community and transforms the future of academic medicine. This is the one meeting where educators, students, residents, researchers, patient care providers, and health system leaders convene to make lasting professional connections, expand collaborations, and learn through thought-provoking discussions.

The Learn Serve Lead team will email a letter to all speakers with registration instructions and details and due dates for all deliverables. If you are a speaker, please do not register for the meeting through the main website. If you cannot locate your speaker letter, have questions, or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Yes, we have one-day registration admission options. During registration, select the day you would like to attend under “Registration Items.” If you would like to attend sessions that are held on multiple days, then you must register for the full conference.

The call for sessions on medical education, and submissions of research in medical education (RIME) research and review papers for Learn Serve Lead 2019, closed in December 2018. For more information about participating next year, email educationalaffairs@aamc.org.
I missed the chance to officially submit a proposal for the meeting this year. What are my options? Registrants are invited to submit a topic or the Focused Discussions Lunch on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is an excellent way to have engaged conversations with your fellow attendees on pertinent topics, trends, and issues. You will lead the conversation with others who share your interests and passion. The call for facilitators will open in September.
Reservations for the Awards Dinner will begin to be accepted when awardees are announced in August. An RSVP for this event is separate from your Learn Serve Lead registration. Register today.
The DOCS Meeting registration is separate from Learn Serve Lead. Registration and more information will be available July 31.
Learn Serve Lead attendees can purchase CME credits during registration. CME is an additional $50 and must be purchased by the conclusion of the meeting. You must claim your CME credits no later than one month after the meeting has concluded, and will receive an email at the conclusion of the meeting with instructions on how to claim your credits. Yes. We encourage but do not require session selection during the registration process. We use these indications of interest as a guide to configuring the meeting rooms. You may modify your registration and session selections at any time.
