Refund and Cancellation Policy

Confirmed registrants may cancel their registration by following the instructions noted in the registration confirmation email. Applicable cancellation fees are as follows:

  • A 15% processing fee is assessed for cancellations made by Friday, Oct. 4, 2019.
  • Half of the registration fee is refunded for cancellations made between Saturday, Oct. 5 and Friday, Oct. 18, 2019.
  • No refunds are issued for cancellations made after Friday, Oct. 18, 2019. Forfeited fees may not be applied to other AAMC events.

Optional Items and Guest Fee

Full refunds are issued only for registration modifications made by registrants online by Friday, Oct. 18, 2019. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment. Optional items include MERC Workshops, CME, and Career Fair Table(s).


Disruption Policy

AAMC meeting participants are expected to support a robust, professional learning environment when attending sessions, meals, the Exhibit Hall, or receptions whether on- or off-site. The AAMC meetings staff will ask participants who engage in disruptive behavior to exit; no refund will be provided.

Harassment Policy

The AAMC is dedicated to a harassment-free experience for all meeting participants and expects all meeting participants to treat other participants with respect and behave with the high degree of integrity expected of the medical profession. The AAMC does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form and will review and respond to reports of harassment. If you see or experience harassment and you want to report the behavior, contact any member of the AAMC meeting staff in person, or send an email to meetings@aamc.org.  You can also report behavior to the AAMC’s Ethics hotline at aamc.ethicspoint.com or by calling 1-855-729-0137. Weapons-free Policy

Learn Serve Lead: The AAMC Annual Meeting is a private event and attending participants are not permitted to carry weapons of any kind, including concealed or displayed firearms, onto the premises of any official Learn Serve Lead: The AAMC Annual Meeting event. Learn Serve Lead reserves the right to require those who violate this policy to immediately leave the event and to revoke their meeting credentials. Each participant agrees that this policy is in force, and agrees to comply with this policy, regardless of whether signs prohibiting weapons are posted at the premises of any official Learn Serve Lead event.
