This event has been cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact the event planner directly.

Learn the basics of project management and its value to your credit union’s bottom line. The MDDCCUA curriculum was designed and developed by an experienced project management professional who brings realistic cases and real experience to each session.

During the first session, you will learn the art of planning from the top down, developing a strategy to evolve from managing in crisis to managing with a prioritized portfolio of projects, ideally approved during the annual planning process. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of the key stakeholders and the team members necessary to ensure project success. You will be introduced to the 3 critical components of the project lifecycle: project initiation, project execution and project close-out. You will gain critical insights into strategic thinking, staffing, effective communication, problem-solving and managing and inspiring innovation.
This session will establish the value and foundation to dive deeply into contract negotiations, project planning, risk management, cost and time management, and decision making.
