Your family is invited to spread some holiday cheer by helping fill bags to benefit the youth living in A New Day's Safe Home and the youth/young adults participating in the organization's Transitional Living Program.There are two ways we invite you to participate:1. Participate in BOTH activities: bring donation items on December 3rd AND help fill bags. Drop in for at least an hour; family (including children of any age with an adult) and friends welcome. Refreshments and drinks will be served. Children can make cards as well as make their own holiday project to take home.Requested Donation Items:Pads/tamponsSoap/body washDeodorantToothpaste/toothbrushesLaundry Detergent (hypo-allergenic)Canned/boxed and non-perishable food items(i.e. easy-to-cook rice/pasta dishes, canned vegetables/soups, jellies, crackers, cereals, hot chocolate, sugar, flour, olive oil, popcorn, etc.)Adult-sized long underwearAdult-sized gloves, socks, or scarves*OR* 2. If you are unable to attend this event, stop by the UWCNM office and donate any of the items needed between now and December 2nd. Office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday.
