Hi - please click on this link to register for the June Lecture.
As the region's leader in trauma and emergency care, Denver Health's Rocky Mountain Level I Trauma Center is committed to providing unique and relevant education for prehospital care providers. We are pleased to announce our new monthly education lecture series developed specifically for EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics: Stories from The Street - Level I Trauma Lecture Series for EMS. Our lectures present collaborative, multidisciplinary case reviews, beginning with the attending EMT or paramedic discussing scene and prehospital care, followed by a Denver Health physician who discusses the patient’s hospital course and outcomes. The physician also offers prehospital tips and guidance specific to the injuries discussed in the case. Topics and case studies are selected from throughout the region to include patients transported directly by any EMS agency to Denver Health and patients who received prehospital and hospital care and were transferred to Denver Health from outside the metro area. Both adult and pediatric cases will be reviewed.
Lectures are free and open to all prehospital providers to attend in person or view as a webinar. They are held the second Tuesday each month from 1200-1300 at the Rita Bass Trauma and EMS Education Institute Auditorium. EMS continuing education hours provided.
