Live Free and Fly: Using Aviation to Teach Forces and Motion: New Hampshire Aviation Museum Workshop and TourSupport for NGSS physical science content will be found during this workshop, which will include a tour of the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire and how the museum can be used for field trips.The four forces that apply to flight; lift, drag, thrust and weight will be tested with a unique paper airplane project. The engineering design process will be utilized and several hands-on demonstrations will be included. Wendell Berthelsen, Director of Operations of the museum, will be the presenter for the evening. New Hampshire is still involved in aviation, with several industries active in aerospace production. Attend this workshop and be a part of the forces at work in New Hampshire!
