Noah Lazar, PhD., C.Psych.

Dr. Noah Lazar is a Clinical Director and Founder of The Downtown Psychology Clinic, which is a group private practice located in Toronto.  He is also an Adjunct Professor and the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Program Director at the University of Toronto.  He completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Western University, with a research focus in the neurobiology and genetics of schizophrenia.  he completed his predoctoral training at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton, in their Mood Disorders Clinic, Neuropsychology Service, and their Schizophrenia and Severe Mental Illness Clinic.  He also worked in numerous inpatient and outpatient psychiatric clinics before beginning work full-time in private practice. He offers assessment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a wide-range of difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, and ADHD. He also works extensively with clients, experiencing mental health issues, return to work from short-term or long-term disability.  He is certified by the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in the provision of CBT.
