Loyola University Chicago Advanced Placement Capstone Summer Institute

Loyola University Chicago invites you to attend our 1st annual Advanced Placement Capstone Summer Institute during the week of July 8-12, 2019.

Teachers from schools approved by the College Board to offer AP Capstone™ courses, AP Seminar and AP Research, may attend this training.  First year teachers of AP Capstone courses are required to complete professional development before teaching either course.

The AP Capstone™ professional development summer workshop trains instructors to teach college level thinking and research skills while exploring academic and real world questions, problems and issues from different disciplines and multiple perspectives.

Special focus is given to facilitate student learning in collaborative settings, while motivating students to think critically and innovatively about research questions.

AP Seminar and AP Research training is available for teachers and administrators from approved AP Capstone schools only. If you have questions about your school's eligibility, please contact apcapstone@info.collegeboard.org
