Dr. Harry Greenspun

Harry Greenspun, M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director of Korn Ferry Health, focusing on critical issues facing clients across the industry in the transformation of health care globally.


Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he served as the Managing Director of the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, providing research and guidance to leaders among providers, payers, life sciences, government agencies, medical device manufacturers, retailers and technology companies.  Before that, he served as Chief Medical Officer for Dell Inc., after serving as Chief Medical Officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation.


Distinguished co-author of “Reengineering Health Care: A Manifesto for Radically Rethinking Health Care Delivery,” Dr. Greenspun is recognized as a thought leader in the health care industry and has been named one of the “50 Most Influential Physician Executives in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare.


Dr. Greenspun has served on the advisory boards for the World Economic Forum, Anthem, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), The Wireless-Life Sciences Alliances, and Georgetown, Tufts, and George Mason universities.


As the Chairman of the HIMSS Government Relations Roundtable and as co-chair of the HIMSS task force publishing the white paper titled, “Enabling Healthcare Reform Using Information Technology,” Dr. Greenspun has made recommendations to the executive branch and U.S. Congress on the pathway to transform health care through IT.


Dr. Greenspun received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, his medical degree from the University of Maryland, and completed his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, serving as chief resident. As a cardiac anesthesiologist, he has practiced in major academic medical centers, as well as community hospitals.


Dr. Karen Meador
Senior Physician Executive


Dr. Karen Meador, a board certified pediatrician, has 25 years of healthcare experience, having served in numerous clinical and administrative leadership roles within healthcare systems and primary care organizations. Dr. Meador has expertise in leading collaborative multidisciplinary teams in creating and expanding innovative high quality programs and services that transform and integrate clinical care, research and education and that engage physicians and patients through innovative services and programs in hospital and community settings. She has extensive experience with Medicaid supported programs, designing and implementing cost-saving and quality improvement initiatives for health systems, primary care networks including FQHCs, and  physician groups. Dr. Meador has been a leader in NY State Medicaid reform, advising eight Performing Provider Systems in their DSRIP (Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program) initiatives. She has also provided guidance and conducted due diligence for investors in healthcare provider organizations, focusing on clinical quality, operational issues, and billing and compliance matters to reduce risk and increase financial returns. Dr. Meador has also served as a persuasive expert regarding the medical necessity of medical and behavioral health services in disputes between providers and payers and in self disclosure matters to CMS.


While previously at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Dr. Meador was President of two subsidiary corporations, where she expanded an outpatient primary care network, founded a physician staffing company, developed the business plans and launched an urgent care center and hospitalist program, and served on the leadership team that expanded Children’s Medical Center to a second campus. As Vice President of Research Administration, she led an NIH Funded Pharmacology Research Unit and was responsible for the contracting, administration, and compliance of over 600 ongoing clinical trials.


Dr. Meador also served as an Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her M.B.A. from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania; her Pediatrics Residency, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; her M.D., The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston; and, her B.A., Rice University


Jean Marie R. Pechette


Jean Pechette is a shareholder based in Polsinelli’s Chicago office and a member of the Technology Transactions and Data Privacy Group and the Healthcare Practice Group. Jean has over 20 years of experience in information technology, privacy and intellectual property law, with a focus on health care and life sciences industries. She also was previously division general counsel for the PACS, EHR and revenue cycle business unit of a Fortune 50 global company. She is a practice leader of the Polsinelli Health Care Technology affinity group, which counsels clients on a broad spectrum of health care technology matters, which includes the following key areas of focus: Health Care Technology Transactions, including M&A, Cloud Computing and Technology Outsourcing, Data Privacy, Security and Breaches, Telehealth, Internet of Things (“IoT”), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Recently, Jean moderated a panel at the ABA Science & Technology Section’s third annual IoT National Institute. Lee Shapiro is Managing Partner at 7wire Ventures, an investment firm he co-founded over a decade ago. He is a member of the National Board of Directors of The American Heart Association, serves on the boards of Medidata Solutions [NASDAQ:MDSO], Tivity Health [NASDAQ:TVTY], and Aptus Health (a Merck subsidiary [NYSE:MRK]).  He is also active with the 7wire portfolio and serves on the boards of Livongo Health, Ayogo Health, Carebox, Zest Health (Chairman), Modern Teacher (past Chairman) and Education Funding Partners.

As President of Allscripts [NASDAQ:MDRX] from 2001 through 2012, his leadership was central to over $4B in mergers, acquisitions and financings. He oversaw the company's strategy, international operations, business development and partnerships, health plan initiatives and entrepreneurial business investments.

He is a member of the Northwestern’s Kellogg Innovation Network Advisory Board, the University of Chicago Innovation Fund Advisory Committee, The Qualcomm Life Advisory Council and is on the advisory board for the Center of Digital Innovation in Health in Beer-Sheva, Israel.

Lee has served as an officer and director of the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation (GIRF), where he is now on the advisory board. Lee earned his JD degree from The University of Chicago Law School and a BS in Accounting from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
