This 3-day workshop will introduce teachers to a complete curriculum designed to be a stand-alone resource for addressing Math and Science TEKS in grades 3-5 by using applied engineering concepts.The curriculum supports inquiry-based practices and investigations within a variety of contexts such as the environment, architecture, and simple robotics applications. Curriculum will be included with the cost of registration. Material costs are minimal and information regarding the purchase of associated kits will also be available.There will be two session offerings.The first session will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2014.The second session will take place from August 4 to August 6, 2014.
