Management Skills Workshop: November 7-9, 2016

Summary

The Patients for Life process provides guidance to ensure that every patient interaction is remarkable, building relationships that endure. But in reality, you spend far more time interacting with your teammates and co-workers than with any given patient—and these interactions are equally critical to your practice’s success. To build a successful practice, you need effective management skills. Whether in a 1:1 or a full team meeting—or even in informal day-to-day communications—you must establish a connection with your staff and create a lasting impression.
This workshop will cover fundamental skills like teamwork, conflict management, and giving feedback, as well as practical tips for conducting effective meetings, interviewing potential employees, and conducting performance reviews. Through a mix of discussion and activities, this workshop will help you develop a truly engaging and responsive communication style, leading to positive results for you and your practice. You'll learn to improve relationships within your team, strengthen interpersonal relationships and handle fast-changing workplace conditions. You'll develop more effective communication skills and be better equipped to perform as a persuasive communicator, problem-solver and focused leader.

After completing this workshop, you’ll be able to—
• Hire and build a strong team to support the mission of the practice
• Influence, motivate, and develop your team to increase performance and results
• Conduct effective meetings with your team
• Give feedback and manage conflict
• Work successfully with all R3 profiles and generations
