On Monday May 7th and Tuesday May 8th @NIST_MEP will be tweeting clues about our exhibitors, speakers, and awards ceremony.
Attendees will then respond to the clues via Twitter using hash tag - #mfg2012hunt. In addition to the hashtag, contestants must tweet the letter A followed by the corresponding question/clue number (i.e. A1) in order to receive credit. An example answer would say, “A1 - The Exhibitor over in the Hall of Cities. #mfg2012hunt.”
Any attendee can join in with the scavenger hunt at any time, as long as all clues are answered. Clues do not have to be answered in any specific order. Three winners will be chosen at random from pool of users who answered all clues correctly
Winners will be announced (and tweeted) at the end of each day. Winners can claim their prize at the registration desk. No prizes will be mailed out to winners.
This years MI2012 event will feature a new networking opportunity for attendees that are interested in engaging in high-level discussion on various manufacturing topics with other attendees.
On Monday, May 7th, Manufacturing Innovation 2012 attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for dinner at various restaurants at the Orlando World Center with other event attendees. “Dinner on Your Own, but Not Alone” will take place Monday May 7th at 6:00pm and will allow groups of attendees to go to dinner with others interested in making new connections. Sign up sheets will be available at the registration desk until 12pm on Monday for anyone that is interested in participating in this event.
Every attendee will find an Exhibitor Passport in the conference packet they will receive with their name badge at the beginning of the conference.
Attendees who wish to participate in the contest should visit each exhibitor to get their passport marked to signify they visited them. Once the passport is filled with each exhibitor's marking, they can return the completed passport to the designated submission box to be entered to win. Once the contest is closed on Tuesday at 3:30pm, a winner will be chosen at random and announced at our Tuesday night reception at 6:00pm near the registration desk. Winners should proceed to the registration table to claim their prize and must be present to win.
