We invite you to the 2019 MAPPA Annual Conference hosted by the Midwest Association Physical Plant Administrators. We are excited to bring all of our colleagues from public and private universities, community colleges, K-12 schools, hospitals, and museums together this year for a great opportunity to learn, network, share, and discover together. We hope you will take this time to invest in yourself and join us to network with colleagues from the seven states that make up the MAPPA region: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

We invite you to bring a new friend or colleague along as we have prepared a great program to meet the needs of all who attend. As a reminder, MAPPA will also be hosting the following professional development opportunities:

MAPPA Conference (October 16-19). This conference will provide an opportunity for outstanding educational sessions, along with opportunities to interact with other facilities professionals in an easy, relaxed setting. The average MAPPA conference attendance is between 175-200 attendees. 


Leadership Track 1: Individual Effectiveness Skills (October 16 - 18).  Level I helps your institution achieve sustained superior results by focusing on making individual leaders more effective. The most successful teams and organizations are led and driven by the character, strengths, and talents of their individual members. Developing that strength of character and releasing individual potential is an inside-out process. Level I helps participants explore their values and highest priorities, increase productivity by staying focused on those priorities, improve leadership skills and trust-based relationships, and achieve a healthy work/life balance. Participants will discover that the pursuit of effectiveness will have enduring positive impacts on both their personal and professional lives. This level includes a 360-degree benchmark providing participants with feedback from managers, peers, and direct reports and clear indicators of their top strengths as well as areas to target for improvement. Registration is $1025.00.


 Supervisor's Toolkit (October 16th through 4:00 PM on October 18th). This training has been specifically designed to meet the needs of facilities management professionals, and provides a structured, open-ended, and pragmatic approach to developing supervisors. It is not so much a teaching program as a development process, designed to help supervisors grow both personally and professionally. This will be from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm daily. Registration is $550.00.


Business Partner Exhibit Hall (October 16 & 17). As part of the conference, opportunities exist to circulate and meet our supporting Business Partners, gather relevant facilities information, and make new business contacts for your facility. Early bird registration is $2,200.00 until August 31st, 2019.
