The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) is pleased to announce that this year’s Diabetes Summit will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Framingham, MA. The summit will highlight the strategies being enacted throughout the state to address prediabetes and diabetes.
We are inviting stakeholders from across government agencies, community-based organizations, employers, insurers, health care, academia, and others to come learn and share their experiences regarding diabetes.
Following an opening keynote address from Pat Shea, Director of the National Diabetes Prevention Program and Medicaid efforts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, participants will hear from a number of speakers detailing the work that is being done to prevent and manage diabetes in the Commonwealth.  The afternoon will include an opportunity for the state diabetes working groups to gather, report on the progress that has been made and determine next steps.  These working group sessions are open for all participants to attend.
We look forward to your participation!
