May Day is a holiday usually celebrated on the first of May. In some parts of the United States May baskets, filled with flowers or treats, are made to be left at someone's doorstep – a great way to welcome spring. Join us for the May Day Basket Workshop to learn about, and make, May Day baskets!

Participants will learn about the history of the May basket tradition while making easy-to-duplicate-at-home, cheerful basket to treat and surprise friends and family on May Day! One basket per participant.
