Trauma Responsive Schools/Applications for Trauma Responsive Schools

It is estimated that one in every four children experience trauma.  This training covers these foundational components to increase the awareness of those working with our most vulnerable children.  It is highly interactive with videos and discussion to increase the level of impact and application.  All educators want their students to be successful.  Children who struggle with mental health issues may present additional barriers, including maladaptive behavior patterns, in schools.  Environmental, interactional, and instructional strategies will be presented and discussed with applications for educators working with children who have experienced trauma.
