TITANIUM Call For Papers:
The International Titanium Association (ITA), Denver, Colorado, has issued a “Call for Papers” for the TITANIUM USA 2017 Conference, which will be held October 8 - 11th at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida near Miami.
In addition, the ITA Industrial committee is hosting industrial market specific content on Wednesday, October 11th which will be identified as "International anTi Corrosion". The Industrial committee is seeking presentation abstracts including all reactive metals for this full day of programming.
Abstracts for market oriented and technical papers alike specifically covering the topics of:
anTi Corrosion Segment:
Field Fabrication / Perceptions (Subset: Repair & Refurbishment)
Failure Analysis (Subset: Metallography)
Corrosion Environment Onshore Vs. Near Shore
Challenges to Titanium Industry from Shipyards
Metallurgy in Industrial Markets
Interested presenters should indicate which of the following panels they would like to participate: Raw Materials, Alternative Energy; Commercial Aerospace; Fabrication, Military/Defense; Automotive; Medical; Economy/Finance; Energy Exploration and Production; Mining; Manufacturing Technology; New Materials; Consumer Goods/Recreation Products; Architectural, or other.
Abstracts from ITA Members, Non-Members and Academia are encouraged. Abstract Submission Requirements/Guidelines: MS Word containing presenter's Abstract should be 500 words or less. File name must be saved and submittedasSurnameFirstNameAbstractTiUSA2017.doc for easy organization. (ieSimpsonJenniferAbstractTiUSA2017.doc) Abstracts must contain preferred panel of topic, keywords, and any co-authors with contact information for the conference proceedings. Only abstracts in English will be considered.

Include your completed Speaker Agreement with the packet of information for consideration. The speaker agreement outlines how the ITA will use the presentation materials, asks presenters to stay within the anti-trust guidelines of the Association, and offers each presenter the opportunity to be video-taped and included in the online conference proceedings which permits delegates to view conference presentations.
MS Word file containing Presenter's Biography which must be no more than 2,000 characters including spaces and punctuation. General Session Panel Sponsorship:
In an effort to help reduce costs to speakers for their participation and to provide recognition to the companies who have contributed in finding high quality speakers to join the panels, ITA is offering general session panel sponsorships exclusively to ITA Member companies. Benefits of sponsoring are outlined on the application. The deadline to receive sponsorship applilcations or Call for Papers abstracts is June 30, 2017 but it is strongly recommended to reserve early to ensure availability.
