The Middle East and the GCC region particularly are experiencing massive growth in the logistics industry and the region is becoming a hub for international trade and logistics. Couple this with the fact that governments all over the region are focusing increasingly on improving healthcare delivery. Biopharmaceuticals, bio-similars, vaccines and other temperature sensitive pharma products are increasingly forming the backbone of Middle East health. To get these products to the patient safely and securely the onus falls on all stakeholders in the cold chain to achieve this goal meaning they must all understand andimplement the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
This training programme exists to supplement the congress through a highly interactive hands-on learning approach where participants can get involved interactively and learn from other participants and some case studies. This will help all the stakeholders understand their role and the role of others in the supply chain allowing them to approach daily duties more holistically.
The programme will include its tried-and-tested team based mapping of the supply chain, identifying Critical Control Points and risk mitigation.
There will be a special focus on maintain “supply chain integrity”, “contract operations and temperature Management during distribution” as well as taking a “risk-based” approach to learn about supplier audits and transport qualification.
