About MMCAP:

The Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) is a free, voluntary group purchasing organization for government facilities that provide healthcare services.

Currently, MMCAP has more than 9,000 member facilities across the country. Annually, those members purchase more than $1.6 billion in pharmaceutical products and healthcare products & services.

MMCAP has dedicated contracting staff specializing in pharmaceuticals and healthcare products & services, a simplified contract amendment process, and an open and competitive procurement process that follows State of Minnesota procurement law.

MMCAP services provided to its contracted vendors includes:

  • Assistance in marketing products and programs to MMCAP members
  • Making the MMCAP membership roster available to contracted vendors via the MMCAP website
  • Conducting monthly contract eligibility reviews to ensure all MMCAP members have access to products and services offered by contracted vendors

Vendor Trade Show:

The Vendor Trade Show is a valuable component of the National Member Conference, as it provides a unique opportunity for face-to-face interaction between MMCAP’s contracted vendors, State Pharmacy and Procurement Contacts, and MMCAP staff members.

The Vendor Trade Show at the 2018 MMCAP National Member Conference will provide MMCAP contracted vendors the opportunity to showcase their products or services for approximately 125 State Pharmacy and Procurement representatives from virtually every state in the country, along with 30+ MMCAP staff members and 6 Senior Account Executives. Attendees include procurement department managers, pharmacy and medical supply buyers, and other state, county and local government employees that influence the purchasing decisions of their respective departments or facilities.

Benefits of the Vendor Trade Show:

  • Face-­to-­face meetings with MMCAP State Pharmacy and Procurement Contacts from nearly every state
  • Display Booth—Approximately 8' x 8' with skirted table and two chairs
  • Pre-conference promotion and post-conference recognition in MMCAP member communications, including social media and monthly newsletter
  • Acknowledgement of participation on the MMCAP website
  • Company profile and logo will be included in conference materials
  • Trade show participation activities for members (ensures all booths are visited)
  • All MMCAP conference attendees are current contract users and key decision makers
  • Breakfast and lunch provided day of the Trade Show
