Sometimes telling is an essential part of curriculum delivery, but sometimes allowing students to experience learning through discovery rather than requiring them to take notes about content offers a more powerful lesson. This practical session will demonstrate strategies for curriculum design that involve engaging students in active learning that simply couldn’t happen for students who are listening only. We’ll also invite participants to share their own favourite strategies.
