MPIOC is offering a CMP Boot Camp on Saturday, April 22, 2017 to help you take the next step on your career! Earn the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation with colleagues in an interactive and engaging study environment.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Any serious planner or supplier who is looking for personal and professional growth should consider the CMP program. Event professionals with a minimum of three years of experience planning or managing meetings and events and qualifying educational attendance should apply!
WHAT WILL WE COVER? The boot camp will highlight key areas of the exam, common questions, and the tricky stuff. Successful candidates often participate in a study group session and a boot camp to really focus and to sharpen the saw.
WHO WILL FACILTATE? Deanne Figueras, CMP, CMM of CA/NV Credit Union Leagues, is a former MPIOC board member and most recently a VP Education. She is volunteering to lead the instruction of this group. Having just earned her CMM and her CMP in 2001, she is a highly qualified facilitator. She holds a Master’s of Science in Leadership and Management from the University of LaVerne.
WHERE WILL THE CMP BOOT CAMP BE HELD? Thanks to our sponsor, Ayres Hotel Orange, at 200 N. The City Drive, Orange CA 92868, for hosting the location of our CMP Boot Camp.
WHAT WILL IT COST? Boot Camp registration fees are independent of payments to the Convention Industry Council. See additional details for CIC program fees and scholarships available. Both study groups and the boot camp are priced in the same way.

Disclaimer: Attending our study group and boot camp does not guarantee success at the exam. Our study group and boot camp’s main purpose is to guide the students through all the required materials. Success factors include reading comprehension, alignment of standards to what the students’ strengths and weaknesses and also their own ability to apply the concepts presented in the reference materials.
