You only have one chance to get it right — once your event is over, it’s too late. Join the conversation that is too important to ignore in today’s environment and leave with a deeper understanding of how to mitigate misfortune as you manage a successful event.

Speaker Martin Hanneman is a former naval aviator with over 25 years of experience working in public safety and defense, including anti-terrorism, law enforcement, search and rescue, disaster relief, and domestic intelligence operations. As the founder and president of Astrea Risk Management, Martin specializes in major event risk management — as well as security training and critical infrastructure protection — for a variety of government, corporate and private clients.

Vital topics include:
  • How do planners, venues and other event professionals prepare for natural disasters like fire, earthquake, and floods?
  • How to plan for and respond to active shooter or bomb threat scenarios.
  • How to plan for and respond to heath crises.

Presenter: Martin Hanneman
