MQ 2019 Mystery Quilt

Welcome to Minnesota Quilters' 2019 Online Mystery Quilt!

MQ's 4th Mystery Quilt is a traditional quilt with a modern twist designed by Suzy Webster just for MQ's Mystery Quilt.  There are 2 sizes to choose from: A Throw is a 70" square and a Queen size is 88" square. And it only takes FOUR fabrics!

When you register, you will receive a confirmation email with links to the introduction with fabric choice instructions and another to the cutting instructions, so you can be ready when you receive your first clue at noon on January first!

All the pages of the pattern are documents in pdf format for you to save on your computer, and print.

On the first day of each month at noon, January through September, you will receive a clue in your email.  You should open the link in the email, save the document to your computer and print it.  By registering for the MQ Mystery Quilt, you have purchased your own copy of the pattern that you can make as many times as you wish, but you may not share the pattern with others.  This would be a violation of copyright laws.

There will again be a private Facebook Group for Mystery Quilters who wish to take part.  It's really a lot of fun.  The 2016, 2017, and 2018 groups had a lot of fun in the private group, asking questions, offering encouragement and everybody posting pictures of their fabrics and each step completed.  If you aren't already on FB, you need to join FB, but you do not need to start collecting friends just to participate in the private group.

If you sign up any time after January 1, you will instantly receive the confirmation email with two links to the pattern (introduction with fabric requirements, and cutting instructions) but you will not receive any other clues until the MQ Office Admin, Debra Svedberg, is in the MQ Office during office hours (Tu-F).  After that you will continue to receive the clues on the first day of the month.

The cost is $30 for MQ Members and $40 for nonmembers.
