Interest in the benefits of Propane and Natural Gas are rapidly growing nationwide, and there are no signs of this industry slowing down! MTEC offers more then six intensive courses that are enhanced versions of the National Propane Gas Association’s Certified Employee Training Program (CETP). While traditionally taught as a textbook style course, MTEC has expanded the nationally recognized curriculum to include hands on training on various types of equipment.
MTEC currently offers the following courses:
Under both CETP rules and Maine state requirements, all
students must first pass and become certified in the course known as
Basic Principles and Practices in order to qualify for any state license
endorsements, or to receive certification in any other segment of CETP.
Successful completion of each course, passage of the included test and
submission of the related Skills Assessment Verification will earn NPGA
certification. Achievement of NPGA certification is the prerequisite to
qualify for state licensing endorsements. Once certification is
achieved, the initial state license and/or endorsements will be issued
according to the licensing law.
