The purpose of NAMEPA Seminar Series is to bring together stakeholders in the marine community to discuss concerns and actions that address marine environment protection. The goal of these discussions is to create greater awareness of the issues and the work that is being undertaken to mitigate potential problems, and to foster collaboration amongst stakeholders.
This Senior Leadership Roundtable will enable the pertinent stakeholders to air their concerns about the incompatibility of current regulations, and enable the California State regulators to rationalize their relevance to the state and global trade.
The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) is a maritime industry-led initiative that engages maritime businesses, government and the public to “Save our Seas” by promoting sound environmental practices. NAMEPA operates as a nongovernmental organization committed to preserving the marine environment through educating seafarers, port communities and students about the need, and strategies, for protecting this important global resource.
