Welcome! 

On behalf of the NASW-NM Board of Directors and the Chapter Annual Conference Planning Committee, we welcome all of you to this year’s conference.  The conference has a proud tradition of educating social workers and students throughout New Mexico for 32 years.  Whether you are coming for the first time or have attended faithfully for several years, you will find that the next few days will be an enriching experience.

Our 2012 conference is particularly special as Dr. Darrell Wheeler NASW’s national Vice-President will be joining us to deliver the keynote address “Social Work Practice: The Profession and Future Directions” and a master’s seminar “Cultural Self-Awareness and Social Work Practice: Always" on February 22. That evening,  conference attendees will have an opportunity to meet and talk to him at our Chapter reception honoring him.
