Early Spring, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) guides communities throughout the country in their annual observance of the National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), April 7-13, 2019. This nationwide, week-long initiative promotes victims' rights and honors crime victims and those individuals and organizations that advocate on their behalf.
On Friday, April 12, 2019 the National Crime Victims' Service Awards Ceremony will be held in our nation's capitol, in conjunction with NCVRW. This deeply moving special event recognizes those individuals, programs, teams, and organizations that demonstrate outstanding service in supporting victims and victim services. The award recipients are selected from public nominations in 11 categories for their vision, action, and leadership in improving the lives of victims in the aftermath of crime.
You are welcome to join us for this unique special occasion at the prestigious National Archives. It is an experience you will treasure for years to come.

Admission
Attendees should arrive at the National Archives Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW. You will be required to go through the National Archives security screening process. Please bring with you federal, state or local government identification (i.e., government employee badge, drivers license, passport or student identification)
Public Transportation
Metro
Take Metrorail's Yellow or Green Lines to the Archives/Navy Memorial Station. This stop is across the street from the National Archives on Pennsylvania Avenue. The National Archives takes up one city block, so you will have to walk to Constitution Avenue and 7th Street and round the corner. Please enter through the "Special Events" Entrance on the right at street level.
Bus
Metro Bus Lines - In Washington, DC, the following Metrobuses stop at the National Archives Building on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW: Lines 30, 32, 34, 36, 53, A42, A46, A48, P1, P2, P4, P17, P19, and W13
Uber, Lyft and Taxi - Instruct the driver to drop you off on Constitution off 7th Street; the Special Event entrance is a short distance from the corner.
Parking
