Join our leaders for an all-day field trip along Florida’s Nature Coast; highlights include a visit to Jenkins Creek where a Brewer's Blackbird has been spotted the last two winters, a saltmarsh to see Seaside Sparrows and listen for rails, an active Wood Stork rookery, a 3- hour boat tour to Anclote Key where dolphins frolic in the surf and shorebirds such as Snowy and Piping Plover feed along the beach. The final stop of this all-day tour will be to an abandoned golf course where a wide variety of birds are often spotted including Roseate Spoonbill, Mottled Duck and Loggerhead Shrike.
