Youth Rally
For 40 years the New England Region of wound ostomy and continence nurses have sponsored/supported adolescents between the ages of 11-17 years of age who suffer with bowel and bladder dysfunction. These youths have ostomies; inflammatory bowel disease and urinary or fecal incontinence participate in a 5 night one of a kind experience called Youth Rally. The camp is held at various university campuses throughout the United States in July; San Diego, Colorado, or Washington.

The New England Region holds an auction every year at our fall conference to raise money for this great cause. All funds go directly to Youth Rally. Youth Rally allows afflicted children to be in a safe structured environment where they are free to share their fears and feelings without the worry of embarrassment or criticism from their peers. Campers are provided with education, socialization, emotional support and a great life changing experience. The camp is run by the United Ostomy Assoc. and is chaperoned by nurses and volunteers.

Medical conditions such as these can cause not only physical but emotional and financial hardship to families. We ask you to please consider our request for financial support, gift cards, merchandise, and/or monetary donations All are greatly appreciated. The cost of Youth Rally Camp is $425.00 dollars plus airfare per camper.
Please call 781-233-0345 for further information. Items can be brought directly to the conference from both attendees and exhibitors and dropped off at the registration desk.
