If the workshop is full: late arrivals will be directed to the overflow seating room (1D06)

5601 Fishers Lane is a large U.S Federal building**. Security is similar to that in an airport. Please make sure you have a government-issued, photo ID with you, such as a driver’s license, passport, etc.  Visitors must enter the building through the front lobby entrance on Fishers Lane after 7:00 a.m.  A valid, government-issued photo ID (if you are an international visitor, your passport) must be presented to the security guards.  Security screenings are required for anyone not in possession of a valid HHS badge.  Because visitor badges are "location-defined", all on-site attendees MUST register for the conference.

**Allow a minimum of thirty (30) minutes for registration, to be processed through the security checkpoint and to find seating.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss details and critical parameters of various PKPD methods and identify best practices and approaches for linking to human PK data and drug efficacy analyses. The use of PK-PD analyses to identify efficacious dose regimens may allow more rapid progress to pivotal clinical efficacy studies, which is of significant utility in development of antibacterial drugs. Rather than providing a general review of PKPD methods, moderators and speakers will define key questions for each session to facilitate detailed discussions about best practices for utilizing various PKPD models and approaches.
