NLN/Iowa League for Nursing CNE Prep Course | July 20, 2018

Contact Hours

Six (6) contact hours/0.6 CEUs (10 Contact hours = 1 CEU) will be awarded for this program by the National League for Nursing, an approved provider through the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET). There is no partial credit awarded. You must attend the learning event in its entirety and complete all required assessments to receive the number of contact hours indicated.

The assessments for this program include a participant survey and a six (6) item quiz. Participants must correctly answer least 4 out of the 6 items answered correctly to receive a passing score.

The National League for Nursing is an approved provider of continuing education as authorized by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET). All states accept NLN continuing education programs, and IACET lists the American Nurses Association as one of the organizations who accept the IACET continuing education units. However, some states categorize the “type” of program they accept, and changes in state regulatory Board requirements for acceptance of CEUs/contact hours do occur. Therefore, it is important that individuals check with their state regulatory Board to confirm how an NLN approved program will be accepted.

A few states require that CE providers apply for additional approval from their professional regulatory Board and post the following information about their provider number. The NLN provider numbers for these states are:

All continuing education records and information gathered through the registration and assessment processes are maintained by NLN staff and information technology specifically designated by role and function for these purposes. Information security and privacy of personal information and learning accomplishments are rights of all learners. Records pertaining to an individual learner's earned continuing education activity with the NLN will be released only to the individual upon signed written request by the learner. A copy of the Privacy and Information Security of Learner Records is available upon request.
