Northeast Region Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society 2020 Annual Conference

Live-Streamed: Friday, November 6 - Sunday, November 8
On-Demand: November 9-21

 This annual regional conference brings together WOCN® members to collaborate for a weekend-long educational event. Due to COVID-19 and the risks of meeting in person for large events we have moved this year to a virtual format. The educational program is still designed to provide evidence-based knowledge of the latest techniques, applications and treatments related to wound, ostomy and continence issues.

Register and gain insights from regional WOCN® leaders as you develop new skills, network with fellow WOCN® professionals and earn continuing education credits.

Attendees may earn contact hours* attending educational tracts that include Wound Care, Ostomy Care, Continence Care and Professional Practice.

*This activity has been submitted to the Ohio Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
For more information regarding contact hours, please contact
Kathleen McLaughlin DNP, RN, CWOCN at 484-565-1485

Once registered through this site you will be sent Login details for our virtual site this fall;

The deadline for poster submission is midnight on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

This year, because of acute time constraints, abstracts will not be required and as a result, all posters submitted must be final versions. Therefore, you will not be sending the 300 word abstract document but ONLY the final PDF posters fully formatted for review.

At the “pinnacle” of our WOCN® practice is our tradition of learning from one another and we are all strengthened by sharing our wisdom, knowledge and innovations.

There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, however it is important to all of us that we learn from the work you will share with your colleagues.
