The Northern Territory Regional Committee of the RACP is pleased to present their Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) for 2016.
Following on from a successful event in 2015, this year’s ASM focuses on two major themes of ‘Access’ and ‘Patient Centred Care’. This event provides an opportunity for physicians and trainees to gather for presentations of recent research and updates in areas most relevant to physicians working in the Northern Territory.
Once again, the ASM has attracted high calibre guest speakers and the event organisers are delighted to announce the attendance of the President of the RACP Dr Catherine Yelland, Adult Medicine Division President, Associate Professor Grant Phelps and President-Elect, Paediatrics and Child Health Division, Professor Paul Colditz.
What makes this ASM so different, is that the program is developed by Northern Territory Physicians for Northern Territory Physicians, and also supports the Gerry Murphy Prize and the Trainee Research Awards for Excellence.
The 2016 Northern Territory ASM will be hosted in Darwin on Saturday 26 November at the Waterfront Theatre, Charles Darwin University and streamed live to The Centre for Remote Health, Alice Springs.
The event will be followed by the ASM Dinner, which provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues, network and enjoy delicious local cuisine. Please check back soon for Dinner details.
