NRL Asian Workshop on Quality 2017

NRL has been hosting Workshops to improve the quality of infectious diseases testing in Australia for over 25 years however NRL’s mission is to promote the quality of tests and testing for infectious diseases globally. NRL has experienced success in delivering laboratory strengthening and capacity building training programmes to those in the Asian region previously and would like to expand on these by hosting a two day Workshop in the region.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce that the NRL Asian Workshop on Quality 2017 will be held in Yogyakarta from 27-28 February 2017 alongside the IATM Congress-The Indonesian Association of Transfusion Medicine on the 1 March 2017 and the IPFA 2nd Asia Workshop on Plasma Quality and Supply on 2-3 March 2017.
Specifically the objectives of this Workshop include:

Medical laboratory staff, medical scientists, laboratory managers, Ministry of Health representatives, test kit manufacturers and regulators.

If you are in Asia and have had successful experience regarding the improvement of quality in testing for infectious diseases, we would like to hear from you! This could be on blood screening, achieving accreditation, management of assays and equipment, point of care testing, validation of tests and testing strategies or implementing EQAS. If you would like to be a speaker at the Workshop, please send the title of your proposed presentation and a short 150 word bio of your professional background to: firstname.lastname@example.org
