The NSF 2012 SBIR/STTR Phase II Grantees Conference will be held from Sunday, May 6, 2012 to Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. This website outlines company participation requirements for active Phase II and Phase IIB awardee companies, travel guidelines and registration instructions. At the NSF 2012 SBIR/STTR Phase II Grantees Conference, grantees will participate in either the Poster Session or a Phase IIB presentation/panel. All companies will be scheduled for a one-on-one meeting with their NSF Program Director. If you have more than one active Phase II grant from NSF, these requirements apply to each award individually. You will also have a one-on-one meeting scheduled for each award. It is strongly suggested that the Phase II Principal Investigator attend this conference. If he/she is unable to attend, please notify your NSF Program Director to discuss who will represent your company. In any case, that individual should be qualified to discuss the ongoing Phase II project during the required one-on-one meeting, and to represent your project and company during the poster session or Phase IIB presentation/panel. Many companies also elect to send a company business representative who is closely involved with the company’s commercialization strategy, business development, and/or strategic partnerships.
