The ceremonies begin with the academic procession, which is followed by addresses delivered by School administrators, the Convocation speaker, and the student speaker. This is followed by the presentation of graduates to the D
ean. During this presentation, each student will be called upon to march across the stage to be recognized. As your program is called, you will stand and proceed toward the stage.  Each student will ascend the steps on the left side of the stage and present his/her name card to the announcer (name cards will be distributed with the Convocation tickets).  As names are announced, you will be directed towards the Dean to shake hands while a photograph is taken.  You will receive a gift from the SPS Alumni Association and return to your seat.
