Please remember to register for entertainment events that require tickets as soon as possible, since they can sell out before the weekend. Please Note:
If  you are only planning to attend the Commencement Exercises, registration is not required. Commencement itself is free and not ticketed. Completing a registration form is only necessary for purchasing tickets to meals and entertainment events, as well as to register for on-campus housing.

$ Theater Production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a one-act musical comedy, centering on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups.
Hall Auditorium, Tickets $10.

A multifaith celebration of music, prayers, and reflections in thanksgiving and blessing for the Class of 2012. This year’s address will be given by Daisy Kahn, Executive Director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, which was a major partner in the effort to build a mosque and interfaith center near Ground Zero in New York.

Oberlin Steel Drum Band Performance
At the conclusion of Illumination and the concert, the Oberlin Steel Drum Band will perform. The group plays in the tradition of the great steel bands of Trinidad,but also performs arrangements of salsa, calypso, and jazz tunes as well as original compositions and arrangements by band members.
