Dormitory Housing
For those who prefer to stay on campus, residence hall housing is available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. All dorms must be vacated by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012.
Linens, including one towel, sheets, a blanket and pillow for each bed, are provided. Residence halls are not air-conditioned (except for Kahn Hall) and all beds are twin-sized. We encourage you to bring the following items: reading lamp, hangers, small fan, alarm clock, and extra blankets or pillows if needed. Please note that residence hall accommodations are very basic and offer few amenities.
Oberlin College has a limited number of ADA accessible housing options. If you have a disability that requires special accommodations, please make a note of this on your registration form.
The cost of dormitory housing is $35 per bed per night if purchased before June 1. After this date, the cost is $65 per bed per night.
Housing Assignments
Residence hall rooms are assigned once Oberlin knows how many alumni are registered for the Conservatory Reunion & Celebration. Register well before June 1 for the best chance to be housed with classmates who graduated near your year.
If you prefer to stay at a local bed and breakfast or hotel during your visit, a list of available accommodations is available here.
Philips Physical Education Center will be open:
Thursday............6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday.................6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday............9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Activities and facilities available include cardio equipment, basketball, racquetball, sauna, squash, strength training, swimming, table tennis, and track. Racquets and balls may be borrowed from the equipment room. Those wishing to swim must bring suits. Lockers and towels are available for a small daily fee. Please note that non-marking shoes must be worn in Philips. You may bowl at the Oberlin College Lanes (next to Hales Gymnasium) or golf at the Oberlin Golf Club.
