Poster submission is now closed.
The poster submission and registration have been integrated. If you are interested in submitting a poster, the option will be available during your registration process. 

There is a non-refundable $25.00 fee for each poster submitted.

Posters may be added to your registration or edited at any time up until the poster submission deadline.

Guidelines:

  • Poster titles are limited to 300 characters, and poster text is limited to 2,000 characters; including spacing, punctuation.
  • The person submitting the abstract will automatically be listed as the First and Presenting Author.  The first author cannot be modified.
  • A first author may elect to designate a co-author to present the abstract at the meeting. The presenting author must register for the meeting in order to make the presentation.
  • Registrants will be limited to ONE poster submission.

Payment deadline for Poster Abstracts:  August 31, 2019


Location of Poster Session

The poster sessions will be held on the main floor of the Hawaii Convention Center in the Kamehameha Exhibit Hall III.  The hall will be open for posters to be placed on the boards beginning on Monday, September 16th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and then Monday-Wednesday, 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Poster Printing

The Hawaii Convention Center's business center is not equipped to print posters.  Please make other arrangements in advance.

The FEDEX / Xerox business center, located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, is able to print posters, with 48 hour advance notice.  The maximum width is 36" and the length can be any preference. Please provide a pdf with the highest resolution available.  Full color printing is available.

NOTE: All information contained in posters presented at Ocean Obs’19 will be available to registered conference participants without restriction. This open access extends to note-taking and photography and video recording of posters while they are on display in the exhibit hall.
