The student rate is available to current undergrad and graduate students only.
Eligibility for Underrepresented Country registration: Under the age of 35 who are citizens of countries designated by the World Bank as “low” or “lower-middle” income per capita. Applicants must also currently reside in a World Bank “low” or “lower-middle” income per capita nation (does not need to be the same as citizenship).

Early Bird registrations that are being held but are not paid for by the deadline of Friday, March 1, 2019, will revert to the Regular Registration fee of $800.00.

The deadline for selecting guest options is Sept 1, 2019.

Cancellation policy
All registration and individual event fees will incur a $25 administrative penalty if cancelled on or prior to September 1, 2019. 

Registration fees and individual event fees are not refundable after September 1, 2019.
Any optional items selected that are not paid for in-full by September 1, 2019, will be cancelled from your registration.

Attention: U.S. Federal Government Employees
If you have not yet received government approval to travel to OceanObs19 meeting, please read the following:

  • For U.S. federal government employees only: The abstract withdrawal deadline will be extended until 6 September. Important: if you are not able to attend and do not want to withdraw your presentation, please encourage a co-author to present on your behalf. Presenters changes can be submitted to the scientific program team.
  • The Poster Abstract submission deadline must be adhered to, however, payment for posters only, may be delayed until travel approval has been authorized.
