Summary

The number one killer of all Law Enforcement K9s throughout the US for 2016 was directly related to the lack of conditioned canines.  To fully reach the pinnacle of the canine potential, a conditioning program must be implemented in any LE or MWD program.  From detection to apprehension and patrolling, the success of the canine athlete warrior rests on their nutrition and conditioning.  This course will cover program design, nutrition, thermoregulation, supplements, conditioning equipment, canine exercise physiology, and canine sports rehab and injuries.

24 credit hours in total.
