Omega Phi Alpha’s National Convention is a gathering of delegates from each active collegiate chapter, national officers and alumnae representatives. The delegation makes decisions that will guide the future of the sorority. Although day-to-day administrative decisions are made during the year by the national officers, all of the sorority’s important national issues are decided by the convention delegation. In addition, a large part of the event is devoted to exchanging ideas, networking and developing skills that chapter leaders will use in maintaining a healthy chapter. All active and alumnae members are welcome to attend.
This year's convention will be unlike any other as we celebrate OPA's 50th anniversary in Perrysburg, OH, just a few minutes drive from one of our founding chapters, Alpha Chapter, located at Bowling Green State University. In addition, this year's event marks the implementation of the sorority's new national organizational structure. The National Executive Board will be reduced from 10 officers to five, a strategic decision passed by delegations over the last few years. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of this one-of-a-kind convention experience.
