After an 8 year hiatus, the Center for Lifelong Learning at the UNC School of Nursing is thrilled to re-introduce the Oncology Nursing Review Course on April 6th & 7th, 2018! Designed and planned by experienced Oncology Certified Nurses (OCN©), this course will follow the OCN© Test Blueprint offered by the Oncology Nurse Certification Corporation (ONCC). Course content will include 13.75 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) hours in the oncology nursing specialty areas.

Through 2 days of interactive learning, expert speakers will take a comprehensive and extensive look at Health Promotion, Screening and Early Detection; Scientific Basis for Practice; Treatment Modalities; Symptom Management; Psychosocial Dimensions of Care; Oncologic Emergencies; Survivorship; Palliative and End of Life Care; and Professional Performance. As an added bonus, participants will also receive tips for successful computerized test taking and where to find additional resources that will enhance personal knowledge of - and, ultimately, the practice of - oncology nursing!
